after giving my employer A month notice, they still haven't paid my last paycheck. it is now a week since my last day, still no pay and they won't give me a day of when to expect my direct deposit? can I take legal actions?

Yes. Since you gave over 72 hours' notice, your final check, including earned and unused vacation or PTO was due on your last day. Because you have not received it yet, you are owed one day's pay for each day you have to wait - up to 30 days and the law requires your employer to pay your attorney.
