Giving Notice and Getting Paid for 2 weeks

If i gave my two weeks notice and they escorted me out that day, are they still obligated by law to pay for the two weeks of work?

Re: Giving Notice and Getting Paid for 2 weeks

It sounds like you gave notice and in turn your employer terminated you on the spot. No, you are not entitled to the 2 weeks. However, if you were terminated your employer should have provided you with a check with all earned wages and earned vacation pay that day.
