harrasment, discrimanation,accused of not following company policy

I would like to know if employers are able to accuse you of theft without eveidence? and tell you that the workplace was being watch and that they had hidden carmeras and microphones all over the store due to the fact that the store was not making budget, and question all employees and suspend 10 employee on pending ivestigation and ask you to submit to a polygraph test without eveidence of theft.

they can do all of that except making you take a polygraph is illegal.
