Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Hi!
I have a law suit against my former employer for wrongful termination. The company that employed me was sold to a new owner. Who do I name as a defendant? Is it the prior owner (who employed me and had the insurance policy during my employment) or the new owner, or should I name both? Any help is appreciated.

Since the prior entity no longer exist, the main defendant should be the new company and Does 1 through 100 to make sure that you can easily amend the complaint later.
More importantly, handling your own wrongful termination lawsuit is a bad idea for many reasons, about which a separate article (or a book) can be written.
