Legal Question in Employment Law in California
HI,
I was recently fired from my job and then found out that my boss was fired shortly after. Before they fired me i was able to quit but they still label me as non rehireable. My bosses reason for doing was because one day I forgot to clock in from lunch. About a week later comes up to me and tells me that I forgot to clock in from lunch and to fill out a manual time card. I couldn't remember if I took an hour lunch or a 30 minute lunch and which I told him that. He tells me to fill it out to the best of my ability. I end up filling out a 30 minute lunch because I did not working full day that day. About a week later I was called into a meeting saying that was committing time card fraud and put on a final written warning at my job. Before this I was not talked to and was not in trouble for any time card related issues. for the next six months I came to work everyday 30 minutes early and payed attention to my time card as best as I could. One day I end up taking a 20 minute break instead of a 15 minute break a week later I got pulled into the back I was told that I was going to get fired but they gave me the opportunity to quit first. Is there anything that I would be able to do now that I found out that my boss is fired?

The fact that your boss was fired does not give you any additional rights. It is completely independent of your situation.
