Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I would like to hire or contract a company from Mexico for a web project, its a short term job, probably no more than 3 months, can this be done? what would I need to do?

Of course, it can be done. You must have a written agreement. However, I can see problems in the event of any breach of the contract. Where do you enforce the contract...in the US or Mexico? You can see the problems if you have to deal with the Mexican judicial system. Is the company solely located in Mexico or does it have a US branch?
