If you are a store manager you are most likely exempt from wage and hour laws. The fact that your paycheck shows an hours figure is not relevant. It is an accounting and productivity tracking matter. As long as you get paid for a days work for each day you work, regardless of the number of hours actually worked, you are exempt. In that case you are not subject to meal and rest break laws, or overtime. You are expected to simply manage your time in order to get some break time and eat a meal if you wish.
