Hurt then terminated?

I was recently terminated from my job. The reason? ''Job Abandonement''. Well, It's only been 3 weeks since I was hurt at the same job, and filed a workmans comp claim. I was taken off work for 1 week by the doctor. and, due to pain, I called in the following week,until after my appointment with the doctor. Before I was to see the doctor, I was terminated. what are my rights ? Is there still a case? will I be compensated for lost wages?

Find an experienced workers' compensation attorney in your area as soon as possible. You are entitled to disability payments and your termination may be unlawful.
