I hurt my wrist while working at a large pizza franchising company. The store I work at is a franchise. I will be quoting shortly will I be able to keep receiving treatment for my injury after I u quit? Also I worked while being on break the entire time i have worked there. What can be done about that and what type of lawyer would I need.

If you were injured at work while performing work duties, you can file a workers' compensation case to get treatment for your wrist even if you quit. If you were not allowed to take at least 2 10 minute breaks in 8 hours, you can get one hour of pay for each day the employer did not allow you to take a break plus attorneys' fees. If the employer allowed you to take breaks, but you chose not to take them, you cannot collect. You should consult a workers' compensation attorney if you have not done so and with regard to the break issue, if you were not allowed requisite breaks, contact an employment law attorney.
