Legal Question in Employment Law in California
My husbands employer has been taking out my husband's child support payments every two weeks from his paycheck, but did not send the money in. he received a notice in the mail yesterday that his drivers license is suspended for 6 months for lack of payment. please advise on how we should handle this situation. thank you in advance. cynthia

Your husband should talk to his employer about this. It may have just been a mistake. If not, then your husband should demand the money that was withheld. If the employer refuses, your husband needs to find an attorney to deal with the child support issue and a possible lawsuit against the employer.
