Inappropriate workplace actions

Does a supervisor have the right to have a copy of another supervisors paycheck on his desk? He was confronted and said that he needed my check to help him get a raise.

No, no one has a right to a copy of your check, if you do not wish them to see how much you make. Your paycheck is strictly between, you, your employer and the IRS.
