Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I got injured at work. But kept working.
My injury now requires surgery and 3 months off work.
How do i get workers comp?
Can I get fired for being away from work that long?

It's easy for us to confirm if your employer had work comp insurance. If they didn't then your claim is against the Uninsured Employer's Fund set up by the State of Cal. Did you report the injury? Was it personal or company doc that says you require surgery? An employer cannot legally discriminate against you as a result of your injury or disabilty, if they do, then you have separate civil case against employer. Call (818) 986-2555 asap.
