involuntary tip pooling by tipped employees
my employer forced me to tip-out .5% of my sales to the hostess and 1.5% of my sales to the bartender as well as 25% of my sales to the bus person (on threat of termination for non-compliance). hostess and bartender not involved in direct table service. can i be compensated through labor comissioners office ( i have set up a hearing for 1/10/00)

You should prevail at the labor commissioner. An employer may not use tips of other employees to supplement wages.
