Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Job Description Addendum
I have been told the term "other duties as assigned" is no longer a legal addendum to a job description.
Is this true?
Thank you.

Re: Job Description Addendum
No. The use of such a decription is acceptable to describe the general duties of an employee. However, such general language will not be sufficent when dealing with a description of an employee's "essential functions" in an ADA situation.
