Job discrimination on who I'm dating
Long story short, my boyfriend and I were both instructors at a self-defense school. I still am. The school has no problem or policy in place regarding coworkers dating (that's not what this is about). My boyfriend quit to open up his own school, teaching the same style of self-defense. I have no intentions of working for him, but the self-defense organization that I work for is now debating whether to let me go. Basically, the only reason I would be let go is because of who I'm dating. I'm a great instructor, they tell me they'd be heartbroken if they have to let me go, and as I have no intentions of working for my boyfriend, there is no competitive conflict of interest. They do say they don't want to invest further time and training into me if there's a chance I could just leave, but I pay for my own training, and them not giving me any further training is miles away from doing something like firing me for who I'm dating. Are there any discrimination cases like this?

Re: Job discrimination on who I'm dating
I dont think it is discrimination, but they way they should deal with it is to offer you something in exchange for a non-compete agreement.
