Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I got a new job and gave my 1 month notice last week. At my current job I get two weeks of paid vacation (I have used 3 days this year so far). Few weeks ago before I got a new job I have submitted my vacation days and it happens that they fall within the last week of my 1 month notice. I am affraid my boss is not going to pay me for my vacation days. What should I do?

Wait until he doesn't pay you. You may be surprised. If he doesn't, then file with the Dept. of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. If he does not pay you all wages owed on your last day, he owed you a days additional pay for every day you are not paid in full, up to 30 days.
