Jury duty

Do I need additional proof(Jury Duty Certificate) to show my employer, to verify Jury service when I was called for Jury Duty and only sat there all day? I didn't serve or start the process, so will my initial summons be enough proof?

When you completed your service (sitting there all day), the clerk gave you a document that certifies that you have done your required service. The employer must accept this as proof that you were engaged in jury duty and can not discriminate against you because you took time off to serve on a jury

I dont think anyone could know what type of evidence your employer will want.
