Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Possible labor law violation

I work in California as a mechanic, and I typically work 8 1/2 hour shifts straight, continuously working and I do not get paid for the half hour that is considered my lunch. It is labeled a lunch, but I am still forced to work, is there any actions I can take?

If you work more than 5 hours per day your employer must provide a 30 minute rest meal period.
