Labor strikes that result in violence

Does the Department of Justice ever involve itself in labor strikes that result in violence? Thank you.

From my experience the DOJ only gets involved where they believe that there is systemic violence. That is where a particular union or employer has had several incidents and there is an effort to go after the leaders rather than the individuals involved in the incidents.

The last time my firm was involved in such a matter was over 20 years ago.
