Labor Unions

When i was hired at a security company i was automatically enrolled in the union. Can i get out of the union and still keep my job?

If your company's contract with the Union contains a Union Security provision (most California collective bargaining agreements contain such a clause), you will be required to maintain membership in the union, (or tender a an amount close to dues) as a condition of employment. I you fail to maintain our obligation to the Union - you can be terminated.
