I was laid off. Can I negotiate my servant package

I was laid off on 1/30/09 as a part of company wide layoff plan. I wa given a servant package. Do I have a choice to negotiate my servant package

Yes, you should at least try to negotiate your severance through an attorney or without an attorney. You should also make sure to have your Release reviewed to make sure that it protects your rights and not only the employer's rights.
