laid off
I was ''laid off'' on Oct. 31. Another employee was also ''laid off'' on the same day, he was given two weeks notice, I was given zer o notice. I had only been back from a medical disabiliaty leave for 2 weeks. before going out on disability, I waans promised by the county manager that I would have a promotion (something I was already doing, but was not given the credit nor pay). Instead of promotion, I was asked to be back up assistant to an inexperienced new hired employee. I agreed, reluctantly,but agreed. I got ''laid off'' before other employees in the company who had less time and less experience. Is there something I can do?
