What is the legal definition in california for ''Termination''

What is California's legal definition of termination as it pertains to labor code or employment law? Is that definition exclusive to employer ending employment, or does that definition also include the employees termination of employment?

California law includes a "constructive termination." This will occur when an employer creates such offensive working conditions under which no reasonable person would continue working. This is a very high standard and must include circumstances that are controlable by the employer.
