Legal Question in Employment Law in California

What are my legal options under the Disabled Americans Act.

My job is being phased out as of 10/1/00. Because of 2 on-the-job injuries I can no longer work in the patient care areas. (I am considered 33% disabled) I have not been offered another position as of now. Do I have to accept a cut in pay and a job (i.e. receptionist or file clerk) that I am overqualified for?

You may, if you want to stay at that company. The company is not required to keep your salary at present level if a different position has a lower pay rate. Have you looked around to see if there are any other jobs open?
