legalities on payment for bank holidays
Is holiday payment a requirement or benefit?
If an employee works on an official bank holiday, is the employer required to pay more than the regular pay rate?

Re: legalities on payment for bank holidays
There are rules re overtime payment based on the number of hours worked but there is no requirement that holidays be treated any different than any other day.
