Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Help. I got an notice of overpayment from EDD. After reviewing the info, it looks like I did screw up and miscalculate my earnings. I feel bad and intend to repay EDD to square everything up. I don't want this to go on record as fraud. Any advice?

More than likely, EDD will be happy if you adhere to repayment arrangements that you make.

Communicate with EDD. Be honest. Tell them it was unintentional and ask to set up a payment plan if you can't pay them back all at once. The worst thing you can do is not communicate with them.
