Legal Question in Employment Law in California
how do I obtain the materials I am entitled to from a two year investigation of the employer charity from the EEOC investigation? I am the charging party.
I am disabled and a lawsuit has been filed. The EEOC investigated them for two years and are saying after talking to hundreds of people they can,t say there was not discrimination and they can't say there was.I guess I can ssubpeona these records in court, but pre trial can I access them?
It seems only fair since the other side the employer was there.
I've thought of the freedom of information act or access to public records through the Attorney General. I don't know how and what to do. If you can please help me it would be more fair and certainly appreciated.
Thank you,
Lois

"A lawsuit has been filed."
If an attorney is representing you, the attorney will subpoena the records during the pretrial discovery process..
If not, you must be a pro per, and we all know where that's headed.
