Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was offered a job in a complex in Moreno Valley, Ca. The complex was not completed yet, so they informed me that I would be working at a nearby complex in Riversid, Ca. Upon completion and signing of my final hiring paperwork, they were sending me to work in Cochella, Ca. which is approx. 70 miles from my home. This creates a hardship for me even though they are paying me 35 cents a mile. I believe they lied to me because they couldnt get anybody to work so far away. Do I have any recourse/

What you believe and what you can prove are two different things. Your recourse is to find another job.
