Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I was offered a job but had to go through a pre-employment drug screening, which I thought I had passed because they had me come in the following week and work for two days. At the end of my second day they asked me if I had taken the test, which I had 6 days before. They called and found out I had not. The took my badge on the spot. They dropped the ball. Am I entitled to the money for the hours I worked? It's been over 72 hours.

You are entitled to be paid for all hours worked. If they refuse to pay you, file a wage claim with the California Dept. of Labor Standards Enforcement and ask for waiting time penalties.
