Legal Question in Employment Law in California

i'm being offered 500.oo to settle a lunch time penalty issue. I'm not sure if I should sign this confidential agreement. For 3+ years I have been required to be available during my lunch hour not all the time but way too much. I work in a bank and I'm required due to dual control to be available. We were recently advised that we were due penalty pay for these days. It's been going on for years and is difficult to accurately compile exact days & hours involved. They asked for my best guess. Now they offered my coworker 500.00 to sign off and it makes me uncomfortable to be in the same position.Any suggestions?
