Overtime pay
I would like to know what is the overtime rate if you worked 8 hours every day mon-fri
for a total of 40 hours, then worked 11 hours on saturday. Are all those hours worked
on saturday paid at 1 1/2 or only the first 8 and the other 3 hours at a higher rate

The rate of overtime you are entitled to will depend in part, upon the duties you perform and the industry in which you are employed. However, generally, most employees are entitled the regular rate of pay for the first 40 hours of work and time and one half for the hours over 40. The 11 hours you worked on saturday must be paid at time and one half.
