Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Paid within 72 hours of resignation from a job?
I have recently resigned from my job, I have heard that I must recieve all of the money that I am owed within 72 hours. Is there a law that says this?

Re: Paid within 72 hours of resignation from a job?
Labor Code section 202 requires California employers to pay employees who quit within 72 hours of the date of the quit. However, if the employee gives 72 hours or more notice of their intention to quit then the employer must pay the employee all accrued wages on the day the employee quits.
