do we have to pay an associate for time spent getting a required physical ( truc

We have truck drivers working for us who, from time to time, must get a physical to stay employed. Do we pay them for the time spent at the clinic getting this physical if the company requires them to get this physical? Please quote me the labor code section if you can when you answer.

Yes, you do have to pay them.
