Legal Question in Employment Law in California
pay for my two weeks
i put in my two weeks notice at my
job. i worked for three of those days
and then came in on the fourth day
and was handed a box of my
belongings and a check for my hours,
PPTO and two days severance. Since
I had put in my 2 weeks notice, do
they have to pay me for the full two
weeks?

Re: pay for my two weeks
No. In fact, they didn't even have to give you the 2 days severance pay. Also, the fact that you gave notice still makes this a voluntary termination and you are not eligible for unemployment benefits.
