Paying of minimum wage

An employee was told that because she receives a commission on her sales the company does not have to pay her minimum wage, but can pay her less.

Re: Paying of minimum wage

No employee may receive less than the established minimum wage. However, the employer may meet that requirement by payment of wages, in any form, such as commission, salary, hourly, etc.
