What is the penalty a company must pay if they fail to issue your last pay check within the alloted amount of days? I need Payroll info pertaining to this subject

California law requires employees to be paid promptly at the time of termination. Employees who are discharged, must be paid at the time of discharge. Employees who quit, must be paid not later than 72 hours after they quit. If the employee gives at least 72 hours notice of their intention to quit, they must be paid at the time of quitting. The penalty is calculated at the employees daily rate of pay, for every day until paid, up to a maximum of 30 days.
