Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Pension Summary

I left my previous job Dec 31. During the exit interview I was informed that I would receive a summary of my pension in 8-10 weeks. It's now been fifteen weeks and after numerous phone calls no one seems to interested in providing with the summary. Is there a law regarding how long a company has to provide me with a summary?

Thanks,

Re: Pension Summary

It's called a Summary Plan Description. The administrator of the plan (who is not usually the employer)is legally required to provide you with a copy, the cost of which may be borne by you. If you do not receive a copy, contact the United States Department of Labor (not the California Labor Commissioner), which regulates these plans.
