Legal Question in Employment Law in California

physically threatened

I am a supervisor at my current employer. One night I was threatened with violence by a subordinate saying that he is going to kick my ass... management is doing nothing about this except try to keep us apart as much as possible, other than that nothing. I fear for my safety and well being with this individual. Is there anything I can do? Management knows and again are doing nothing but draging their feet saying there's an investigation going on and will let me know when the time is right.

Re: physically threatened

Hire an attorney to write a letter, so they know you have an attorney, and so the letter makes clear that they are aware of it. They will not want to ignore the letter because if something happens, they will not want to risk being responsible. Email me if you want me to do it.
