Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Pre employment physical examinations

If a job is offered to me, contingent upon submitting to a physical examination, can I decline to take the physical exam and still get the job?

Also, without disclosing my disability?

Re: Pre employment physical examinations

If the job is offered subject to passing a uniform medical exam given to all who have been offered employment, you will most likely be required to complete the exam prior to begining work. As to disclosing your disability, you will, as part of the exam be required to complete a medical history. You are not required to volunteer information, but you must respond truthfully.
