profanity in the work place

is there any law to protect profanity from being done to another employee in the work place specially at meetings

No. Profanity is up to the employer to eliminate, if it so desires. However, sexually offensive profanity may create a hostile work environment for some, which maybe illegal. The same may be true for profanity directed at certain races, religious beliefs, etc. Also some cities may have local ordinances that address profanity, but not State or Federal law.
