Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I put in my two weeks on the 7th of October and my employer let me go yesterday. Is this legal? I was paid up to my two week mark.

Yes. Employers often do this because of morale problems that could occur, and possible theft of proprietary materials. They also don't want someone working there whose heart no longer is in doing the job.
