Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Rate Increases

I was informed I was given a rate increase effective April 1st. I resigned April 12th - to be effective April 28th. I have been told my rate increase has now been denied. Is this legal? This will effect my final month of service as well as my vacation days accrued payout when I leave.

Re: Rate Increases

Yes and no. they can cancel the increase without cause but they must pay the increase for the hours you worked prior to the cancelation.
