Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Real Estsate Commission

I left my company a few weeks ago and a commission check that I received a few months ago was incorrect. I never said anything about it and now I'm wondering if I can still try to get the extra money that was not in the check. It's about $400

Re: Real Estsate Commission

You might have a credibility problem but if it can be clearly documented that it was a mistake, send a certified letter explaining the basis for your claim. If they refuse to pay, file a claim with the California Labor Commission or a small claims action.
