Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I have recently been demoted from a bartender to a server at my place of employment for no reason. What actions can i take???

Employers may hire, fire, promote or demote employees as it deems necessary for its business. Unless you have evidence that your demotion was motivated by an unlawful reason, there is no legal action you can take.
