Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I recently was investigated at work for suspicion of creating a loss to the company. After the interrogation I was asked to write out a statement. After doing so I signed the statement as well as two witnesses. After handing off my statement off to the loss prevention manager he came back and insisted that I add another statement. I resisted but after being verbally assaulted for 2 hours and just wanting to go home I added it. My question is if the statement is still valid if I signed it before being told to add another statement that I coerced into writing.

I am not sure what you mean by asking if the statement you wrote is valid. If you wrote it, it can be used as evidence of an admission against you. You would have to convince whoever is deciding your case that you were forced to write it against your will.
