I was recently laid off from my job. Before I left I contacted a few of my clients via email and let them know that I would no longer be working with them. I also gave them my email if they needed any further assistance. Can my company sue me for contacting my clients?

Generally, it is not a violation of the trade secrets act to let former clients know you have moved on. But you are getting into a more cloudy area by suggesting they contact you for any further assistance. If you signed a non-solicitation agreement, this could be interpreted as a solicitation.
