Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I was recently recorded at my job during a phone conversation that was private. The person at the other end of the line was not told they were being recorded. This was on an 800 number that rolled over to an 888 number. This was monitored I was told by a major corporation. It was then played on the company computer. Was this legal? I live in California.

Unless you were told in advance that your call would be recorded, it is unlawful, a misdemeanor. In addition by playing it for other people, that might be an invasion of privacy.
