Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Have not recieved a paycheck yet

i have worked for my company since july 18th, they wrote in my contract that i would recieve my first pay check by 15th august...its almost a mth since then...

have not recieved any pay since i started working.

they say i might get paid by tuesday.

if they do not pay what should i do?

and if they do, can i ask them to pay interest or waiting time penalties or like something more for not recieving my paycheck in time?

File a complaint with the Labor Commissioner. Look in the Phone Book for State of California - Department of Industrial Relations - Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.
