refusal to submit to a polygraph

1. Does california labor law require that I submit to a polygraph test.

2. What are the possible repercussion if I don't?.

Employer has a loss of $20,000 over a one year period, so they say. They do no inventory of any kind and have a lax record keeping system. The company has not been making as much and they want to blame someone.

California employers cannot require employees to take polygraph tests and cannot punish them for refusing to do so.
