Can my employer make me sign a release form in order to get my final paychecks? Can they without my final paycheck until I turn in their laptop and marketing material? How long do they have to pay me my commission check?

Thanks for the assistance

Re: Release Form

An employer cannnot condition payment of earned wages upon the signing of a release. All wages are due at the time of termination assuming employer already paid for commissioned sales. You should return the laptop and materials asap. You are not giving up any rights, but do not give them any reason for not paying you.
